Caregiver – Part-Time/Full-Time Position

Position Overview:
SF Home Care is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers to join our team. Caregivers will provide non-medical personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. This position can be part-time or full-time, depending on your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful social activities.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to SF Home Care management.
- Ensure clients’ safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
- Communicate with families and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- CNA or HHA certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience in a professional setting is required.
- Must be authorized to work in California.
- Must have a car and can drive clients around in their own car.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and attentive care.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check and have up-to-date TB testing.
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time based on availability.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate of $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
