TCRCure Biopharma is a clinical-stage biotechnology startup with a global focus to provide personalized cancer immunotherapies. Our product team of scientists and engineers leverage their expertise in CAR-T and TCR-T therapy, high-throughput cloning, and gene therapy to deliver “patient-first immunotherapy.” We are passionate about our technology and we need YOUR help to transform our ideas into cures.

Currently, our research team in Los Angeles is seeking a highly motivated individual to perform hands-on laboratory work. We are looking for someone who can adapt quickly to the rapidly evolving priorities and collaborate effectively with scientists and other associates in the group to help our product development succeed. This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA and the candidate will report to the Senior Scientist.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • T Cell cultures and assays using flow cytometry
  • Lentivirus and Retrovirus engineering, generation and transduction
  • CAR-T and In vivo CAR-T cell engineering
  • Performing PCR, cloning experiments to construct plasmids for T cell therapy
  • Execution of accurate, up-to-date records of experiments and prompt reporting of results
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • B.S. or M.S. with 1-2 years of work experience in cell-based assays; immunology experience is a plus.
  • Experience in, or familiar with molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, plasmid preparation, cloning, virus production, virus purification, etc.
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology equipment.
  • Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail in following SOPs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in a small-team collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable and efficient in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment.
  • Desired skills include: (1) Familiarity with flow cytometry, (2) experience handling viral vectors, and (3) familiarity with CAR-T therapy.
