LGTC Group provides Behavioral Health Services throughout the Bay Area. We are looking for someone to fill this role in Oakland.
We are looking for a responsible Front Desk/Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. Ultimately, a successful Front Desk Administrative Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office. This is not a work from home position. Needed in the office 5 days a week, Monday through Friday in Oakland, CA .Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Answer phones and return voicemails
- Greet clients
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Collect Co-pays and payments
- Enter patient information into practice management software
- Filing, creating new patient charts, as well as other clerical duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Monitor inventory of office supplies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
- Able to maintain a positive working relationship with all staff, physicians, and clinical personnel
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiar with medical practice management software and pharmacology
