Overview:
We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a respected accounting and advisory firm in California. This role offers the opportunity to work with nonprofits, employee benefit plans, and housing organizations while providing both audit and tax support.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead audits, reviews, and tax compliance engagements

Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and nonprofits

Support and mentor a 6-person audit team in technical and professional development

Conduct financial audits for nonprofit, benefit plan, and housing sectors

Provide hands-on client service and ensure compliance with standards

Maintain strong technical accuracy in all deliverables
Qualifications:

CPA designation (active or in-progress)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience (audit/tax)

Experience in tax return preparation and financial audits

Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability
Preferred:

Background in nonprofit, benefit plan, or housing audits
Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary $90K - $120K DOE
