The Department of Oncology Research is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to contribute to the discovery and progression of small-molecule therapeutics.
- The successful candidate is expected to make major scientific laboratory-based contributions to the group goals and present their results in internal forums.

responsibilities:
- Experiments, record keeping, data analysis, and presentation.
- Minimal meeting burden.
- Primarily a lab-based role.
qualifications:
- Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 4 years of relevant scientific experience OR Bachelors degree and 6 years of relevant scientific experience
- A strong skillset of standard cell and molecular biology experimental design and techniques (e.g., mammalian cell culture, western blotting, molecular cloning, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc) and data analysis (e.g., GraphPad Prism)
- Research experience in cancer biology, genetics, or related field
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work in teams to achieve changing project goals and meet timelines
