We are seeking Mathematics Undergraduates/Masters students for a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs. In this role you will curate and produce high-quality mathematical problems and clear solutions that help train and evaluate state-of-the-art large language models. Your contributions will directly shape dataset quality through careful problem selection, verification, and annotation.
Responsibilities
- Draft and curate well-defined mathematics problems across areas such as algebra, calculus, probability, combinatorics, number theory, and proofs.
- Write complete, step-by-step solutions and concise final answers that can be used as model outputs and ground-truth references.
- Verify correctness, difficulty level, and novelty of problems and solutions through independent checking and testing.
- Annotate each item with required metadata (topic, difficulty, tags, common pitfalls) according to project guidelines.
- Edit and improve existing dataset entries for clarity, consistency, and adherence to formatting standards.
- Meet per-week quality and throughput targets while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Use provided tooling to submit, organize, and version-control contributions; follow labeling and review workflows.
- Collaborate with the project team to refine problem templates, clarify guidelines, and incorporate reviewer feedback.
- Participate in occasional onboarding, calibration, or feedback sessions and maintain confidentiality of project materials.
You're a good fit if you:

Currently& pursuing/holding a mathematics-related degree& from a& leading US or Canadian university.

OR& Have& worked full-time in a mathematics-related domain& in& US or Canada for 1 year.

Have high& attention to detail.

Have exceptional& written and verbal communication skills.

Have excellent& proficiency in English.
Additional Project Details:

The project will begin in September, though we will continue with rolling application review throughout the duration of the project.

Expect to contribute& 15-20 hours of work per week, with potential to extend up to 40+ hours.

The work is& fully remote and asynchronous.
