Job Role:
Position : Gas & Chemical Technician
Location : 974 East Arques Ave Sunnyvale CA 94085
Contract : 12+ months.
Shift : Monday - Friday; 7 am - 3:30 pm PST (Overtime is a possibility)
Pay Rate : $29.50/hr. on W2. (possibly higher if the HM feels the experience meets)
Description:
This position involves other responsibilities. Please see below:
- Must demonstrate quality and comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response.
- The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site's gas or chemical equipment.
- They will ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.
- A subject matter expert for gas, chemical, and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
- The individuals will be a part of the on-site Project and equipment team and will support the gas and chemical operations in 11 buildings throughout Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.
- The Technician will support and lead the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors.
- The worker will ensure compliance when writing, editing, and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture.
- A subject matter expert for gas, chemical, or slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
- The individual will also be involved in project and sustaining operations, Basic Safety Processes, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training.
- They will support installing, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing all Electronics Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas, and Chemical systems.
- The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems, as well as performing complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment.
- The worker will undergo comprehensive OJT and technical training and qualification programs. 5 levels of technicians offer a fast-paced promotion track.
