Job Summary:The Ranch Hand supports daily livestock operations with a focus on goat care and general ranch maintenance. This role involves physical outdoor labor in all weather conditions and requires experience working with livestock, especially goats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain goat pens, including waterers, feeding stations, and enclosures
- Herd and feed goats as instructed
- Perform regular fence inspections and repairs
- Complete general farm and ranch-related duties as assigned by the Ranch Supervisor or team lead
- Use and maintain farm tools (e.g., shovels, rakes, pliers) safely and effectively
- Support the team in various projects and daily chores
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be physically capable of maneuvering and restraining large goats
- Experience working with livestock is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (rain or shine)
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and walking long distances
- Willingness to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious

- High School Diploma or GED required
