We are seeking a passionate and experienced Coach (part time) to join our Alloy fitness program and inspire our members to achieve their health and wellness goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal training, group fitness, and program design, with a deep understanding of body mechanics and physiology. As part of the coaching team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and motivating environment within our gym, fostering a culture of fitness and community.
Personal Training Certification AND Personal Training experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Lead small group fitness sessions(4 to 6), ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants.
- Provide personal training sessions that focus on achieving clients' specific fitness goals.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' physical abilities and progress.
- Educate clients on body mechanics, nutrition, and overall wellness strategies.
- Promote fitness sales by engaging with potential clients and showcasing the benefits of our programs.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall member experience at the health club.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in physical education and fitness.
Experience
- Required:
- Proven experience as a coach or trainer in a gym or health club setting.
- Strong knowledge of program design, physiology, and body mechanics.
- Background in personal training or group fitness instruction is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- A passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.
- Experience working with people over 40 required
- Experience in fitness sales is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
