Job DescriptionRole Summary:
The Field Office Engineer provides critical support for field operations by managing construction documentation, tracking submittals, and assisting with coordination between the field and office teams. This role ensures accurate, timely communication and documentation flow to help maintain compliance and support project execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update submittal registers, tracking logs, and related documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.

Assist in the preparation, review, and documentation of change orders, RFIs, and other project correspondence.

Support QA/QC efforts by coordinating inspection schedules and ensuring relevant documentation is available and properly recorded.

Facilitate communication between field staff, contractors, designers, and office personnel to support workflow and issue resolution.

Organize and archive construction records, including drawings, permits, reports, and daily logs.

Help monitor construction progress and prepare field documentation summaries or reports as requested.

Assist in tracking material deliveries and verifying quantities against submittals and project requirements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

1–3 years of experience in construction or engineering support roles preferred.

Familiarity with construction documentation, submittal processes, and general field procedures.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera Contract Manager) is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
