We support physicians, hospitals, and pharma/biotech partners by delivering fast, high-quality molecular and functional testing. About the Role

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between innovative research and life-saving clinical diagnostics? We are seeking a meticulous and driven Clinical Research Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will help evaluate cutting-edge technologies, perform rigorous clinical validations, and support our ongoing testing, while meeting the highest standards of accuracy and patient care.


What You’ll Do

  • Bench Work: Perform a diverse array of laboratory methods (e.g., PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, cell culture)
  • Pipeline Evaluation: Scout and evaluate new diagnostic assays, platforms and methodologies to determine clinical utility and feasibility for lab adoption
  • Clinical Validation: Design and execute rigorous validation studies in accordance with CLIA and CAP (and when appropriate NYSDOH, GLP, IVDR) guidelines, including statistical analysis for diagnostics performance
  • Technical Writing: Author comprehensive validation plans and reports, SOPs, etc.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to strict quality management systems and regulatory guidelines.


What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • MSc or PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
  • Ability to perform wet-lab bench work
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail is essential—critically ill patients' lives are at stake!

Preferred:

  • Post-doctoral lab experience
  • Experience in hematology, immune dysregulation, or complement biology
  • Prior work in a CLIA/CAP-accredited lab
