Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas and Chemical Versum - Megasys Technician to join their team. As a Versum - Gas and Chemical Megasys Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Gas & Chemical Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: US - Vesum Gas and Chemical - Megasys Technician
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Pay Range: $29.50/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday; 7 am - 3:30 pm PST
What's the Job?
- Support and lead technical operations for gas and chemical equipment in a high-tech manufacturing environment
- Ensure compliance with safety, operation, and maintenance procedures
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment across multiple sites
- Participate in project and sustaining operations, preventative maintenance, and safety programs
- Perform complex troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment decommissioning as needed
What's Needed?
- Ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication
- Experience supporting gas, chemical, or slurry equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and emergency response protocols
- Capability to perform cylinder and drum changes on chemical and gas systems
- Willingness to undergo comprehensive on-the-job training and technical qualification programs
