Our dealership seeks an automotive service advisor who loves greeting customers, assessing customer needs and scheduling appointments for our capable service technicians. In this role, you’ll use your product knowledge as a service advisor and draft cost estimates, evaluate warranty protections, and coordinate necessary repairs. $60,000 - $100,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the service department schedule and slot appointments for vehicle repairs
- Relay relevant automotive technology and product knowledge to explain necessary repairs to customers scheduling service appointments
- Arrange for timely vehicle pick-up at the dealership following the completion of work orders
- Address customer concerns and conduct thoughtful follow-up to ensure they are happy with repair work
- Appropriately file all automotive documents such as maintenance records, invoices, repair orders, and more
Qualifications:
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory
- Possession of a valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is integral
- Work history should include a service advisor role or other employment-related to automotive technology
- DealerTrack and xTime experience recommended
