Depending on Level: $22.00 - $32.00

$4,000 Sign-on Bonus!

About this opportunity:

This position operates the laser. Ensure the laser is making good quality parts. Make minor program edits for cutting conditions and multiple part manipulation. Work with the Inspectors to guarantee part quality. Work with the Programmers to improve or troubleshoot the program or parts being cut. Produce fixtures for other department leads. This position reports to the NC Lead and Shift Supervisor.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Laser is consistently producing quality parts in the most efficient time.
  • Know basic "G" code manipulation to alter multiple part commands and cutting conditions to improve edge quality.
  • Clean the machine and area.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in precision sheet metal.
  • Basic machine skills and basic NC skills.
  • Speak and read English.
  • Have good understanding of basic mathematics.
  • Must have good print reading skills
  • Be able to use calipers.
  • Understand print call outs and part rotation.
