We are seeking a Senior Provider Partnerships Representative to lead the development of high-impact referral relationships and strategic joint ventures with healthcare providers throughout the San Diego and Orange County region. This role will be critical in accelerating patient acquisition, improving care coordination, and building long-term value with referring partners across the healthcare continuum.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the local healthcare ecosystem, strong relationship-building skills, and a track record of driving referral growth through provider engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Build & Manage Referral Partnerships

Identify and nurture high-potential referral sources, including health systems, primary care providers (PCPs), psychiatrists, therapists, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), and outpatient behavioral health clinics.
Design and implement targeted outreach strategies to expand Salma’s referral network in alignment with our patient population and clinical capabilities. -
Represent Salma in the field by coordinating and attending in-person meetings, events, and educational sessions to strengthen relationships with referring partners and increase brand visibility.

Facilitate the development and execution of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to formalize referral partnerships, clarify shared goals, and ensure alignment around care coordination and communication expectations.

Support Local Market Development

Collaborate with marketing and operations to localize messaging, co-host provider events, and track referral funnel performance

Analyze referral data and optimize for high-performing channels and relationships

Maintain CRM & Performance Metrics

Track activity, outreach, and conversion metrics in CRM

Build and maintain dashboards on referral volume, partner engagement, and provider satisfactio

Qualifications
-
3-5 years of experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, partnerships, or strategic sales

Deep familiarity with the San Diego or Orange County provider landscape; existing relationships a plus

Strong understanding of behavioral health, primary care, or specialty care (e.g., physical therapy, mental health, pain management)

Experience driving referral growth in a clinical setting or developing partnerships with physician groups, hospitals, or health systems

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, field-oriented role

Compensation & Benefits:

Base (Salary or Hourly Rate): $80,000-100,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and location
