We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic with expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern vehicle technology, from traditional engine components to advanced diagnostic and electronic systems. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, starters, alternators, and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
- Conduct thorough inspections and provide repair recommendations to customers or service advisors.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, technical manuals, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate repair records and document work performed.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic/technician (mechanical and electrical).
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostic systems and repair equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Proficiency with both hand tools and computerized diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- ASE certification or equivalent training (preferred but not required).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles is a plus.
- Knowledge of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
