We are seeking (1) dedicated and knowledgeable Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive service, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and technicians. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and facilitating smooth operations within our service department. The Service Writer will be responsible for managing service requests, providing estimates, ordering automotive parts, and maintain focus on quality and efficiency.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately.
- Provide detailed estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
- Order Parts for vehicle repairs
- Process transactions for services rendered.
- Ensure all service records are up-to-date and organized.
- Assist in managing the workflow within the service department to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service: Ability to greet customers, handle questions politely, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Verbal Communication: Clearly conveying information between customers and technicians; speaking in easy-to-understand terms.

- Basic Computer Literacy: Comfortable with scheduling, email, and data entry software.
