We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a high-performing auto-collision repair facility with active Direct Repair Programs (DRPs) from Farmers, State Farm, Travelers, and Wawanesa. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with the expectations, compliance metrics, and operational flow tied to these specific insurance partners. This role demands strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to maintain top-tier customer and insurer satisfaction while driving profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the collision center, ensuring high-quality repairs, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service.
• Manage and grow strong relationships with DRP partners—specifically Farmers, State Farm, Travelers, and Wawanesa—ensuring full compliance with program guidelines and performance benchmarks.
• Monitor KPIs such as cycle time, touch time, CSI scores, supplement frequency, and severity to ensure DRP and business targets are met or exceeded.
• Train, coach, and lead estimators, technicians, and front office staff to meet production goals and insurance standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workflow from drop-off to delivery, ensuring accountability at every step.
• Conduct regular DRP audits and prepare documentation to satisfy insurer guidelines and improve performance scores.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency to protect the shop’s reputation and DRP standing.
• Optimize parts procurement, labor efficiency, and shop throughput to maximize profitability and reduce bottlenecks.
• Work closely with the ownership to identify opportunities for operational improvements, marketing, and expansion.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a high-volume collision repair center.
• Proven expertise in DRP management, especially with Farmers, State Farm, Travelers, and Wawanesa.
• Proficiency with estimating systems such as CCC One, Mitchell, or Audatex.
• Strong understanding of KPIs related to insurance scorecards and how to improve them.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage P&L statements and make data-driven decisions.
• I-CAR certification or equivalent industry training is preferred
