High School Diploma or equivalent with some college preferred
Entry Level
Employees must be able to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities without missing deadlines.
Computer literate, ability to type 45 wpm
Employee must be able to effectively communicate in a professional and accurate manner with patients, internal staff, in all written and verbal communication.
Some knowledge of criteria for establishing eligibility/linkage for (Medi-Cal, Insurance) helpful.
Locate patient utilizing various skip tracing techniques, i.e. (Nearbys, Post Office, Field Request) to locate patient.
Send out first contact letter to applicant
Send out second contact letter to applicant, if no response from applicant
Screen patient for eligibility for a third-party payer source, i.e., (Medi-Cal, Private pay insurance) etc.
Explain to applicant what verifications are required for the application process
