Job Description

Hours: Mon-Thurs - 8:30am-5pm, Fri 8:30am-2pm

Duration: Now - with no end date

Some specific duties:

Food Pantry (twice a month): Load, unload truck set up distribution
Youth Program: Summer Camp program and Summer lunch distribution
Community Events: Host 1-2 Family Engagement events (may require evening work/flex scheduling) for residents
Organizing/Cleaning

We are hiring immediately for a full-time temporary Resident Service Coordinator in Oxnard. Candidate must have relevant prior experience with at risk adults and social services. Position requires the ability to carry up to 25 lbs, lift and carry boxes from the food bank.

Job Duties:
Facilitate and implement core programs as delegated by the program model. Collect and record data to measure program outcomes. Identify human and community service needs of residents. Develop strategies to link residents with needed services, including assistance in overcoming various barriers that might impede access to services. Build community partnerships that bring services and notice to the property; ambassador/advocate of the property, seeking volunteering, selling the brand, counseling, crisis counseling and case management.

Qualifications:
2 years of experience in community development, social services, or related field.
