Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and internal reports
- Manage general ledger activities and month-end/year-end close processes
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain and improve internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, supporting their professional development
- Assist with internal and external audits and ensure timely audit preparation
- Analyze and interpret financial data to support strategic business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to improve financial performance
- Support cost accounting functions, including analyzing standard costs, monitoring variances, and preparing inventory and manufacturing cost reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
