Some Duties and responsibilities are:
- Manage movement of all parts from start to finish in the shop
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for posting all shop invoices
- Managing credits and core charges weekly / monthly basis
- Monitor vendor discounts
- Communicate with staff, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work with vendors to get status update on all ordered parts pending
- Check parts for any defects/damages
- Follow up with vendors on all pending credits for returns
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with all vendors for parts
- Expedite parts and/or search alternative sources when obtaining specific parts is problematical
- Oversee the receipt and storage of parts including the process of checking all parts orders and the parts themselves for accuracy and completeness
- Assure that all parts are marked with the RO number and are stored or staged by job, and that the order status is clearly noted on all paperwork
- Manage the dispatch of parts to technicians on a timely basis
- Proactively return all unused parts and assure that credit is properly received and posted to the repair order
- Proactively communicate with techs, and Estimator regarding parts status
- Post all invoices & Credit Memos, as appropriate, in the computer or management system on a timely basis.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and above regularly
