Hospitality Associate

Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay Rate: $24.60/hour
Job Type: Full-time 7:30am - 4:30pm

Job Summary

The Hospitality Associate will partner with the client’s Executive Concierge team, Space Management, and employees to ensure seamless delivery of catering services and support for high-level partner and client meetings. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced professional environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Meeting & Event Coordination (35% | Daily): Capture and report customer interactions, including IT, facilities, meeting support, and catering needs.

  • Room Management (15% | Daily): Oversee large meeting rooms, verify occupancy, reclaim unused space, and meet with clients to confirm logistics.

  • Event Logistics (20% | Daily): Issue Special Event Forms (SEFs), coordinate catering requirements, and conduct walk-throughs of meeting spaces.

  • Reporting (5% | Daily): Run daily setup worksheets, create weekly event sheets, and produce monthly room usage reports.

  • Client Engagement (10% | Daily): Check in with clients before events to confirm needs are met and adjust on-site requirements as necessary.

  • Team Collaboration (5% | Weekly): Participate in weekly event meetings, sharing upcoming schedules and updates with staff.

  • Training (1.5% | Weekly): Complete required classes, certifications, and ongoing professional development.

  • Policy & Safety Compliance (8.5% | Daily): Adhere to client and Forrest Solutions policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Position Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in hospitality, event planning, or a service-related industry (hotel/restaurant background preferred).

  • Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and audio/visual equipment.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional demeanor and polished appearance.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with professionals at all levels.
