Position Overview
Our client is hiring Claims Representatives to support the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program. These representatives will play a vital role in guiding impacted residents through the claims process with compassion and professionalism. Representatives will provide in-person assistance, answer inquiries, and help residents complete applications and submit documentation. Full training, program guidelines, and onsite support will be provided to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Assistance: Provide empathetic, in-person support by answering questions and addressing resident concerns.

Application Support: Assist residents with completing claims applications, uploading documents, and ensuring accuracy per established policies.
•
Resident Engagement: Actively listen to residents’ needs and ensure they are supported at every step of the process.
•
Document Management: Scan, upload, and validate documents while maintaining compliance with program standards.
•
Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate complex cases or exceptions to the appropriate teams.
•
Compliance & Confidentiality: Protect sensitive resident information by adhering to data privacy and legal requirements.
•
Communication: Deliver clear instructions and updates on claim status and next steps.
Qualifications & Skills
•
Preferred Experience: Prior claims support in insurance or healthcare settings.
•
Technical Skills: Comfort with web-based systems and basic MS Office.
•
Customer Service Skills: Strong active listening, empathy, and professionalism in sensitive or emotional situations.
•
Other Requirements:

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Able to work independently and collaboratively.
