Laboratory Technician $22/hr - $25/hr DOE
Anaheim, CA
Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm
This job operates in a professional lab and office environment. this role operates in a lab environment, working around containers of chemicals with the potential for fumes or airborne exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory testing, analysis, and quality control procedures following established protocols and SOPs.
- Handle, measure, and prepare chemical samples—including acids, solvents, and other hazardous materials—using proper PPE and safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- 2 years recent chemical manufacturing industry lab tech experience preferred, may be combined with academic lab experience.
- Able to wear appropriate PPE specific to lab environment, including Air Purifying (full face) respirator
- Familiarity with acids, solvents, and general chemical handling procedures.
- Strong understanding of PPE requirements and hazardous material safety practices.
