Seed room attendant
Hiring Immediately!
The Seed Room Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the cleaning, processing, packaging, and storage of seed. This position plays a key role in maintaining seed quality and ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive, handle, and process seed in preparation for cleaning, storage, and distribution.
· Operate seed room equipment, including cleaners, conveyors, scales, and bagging machines.
· Accurately label and package seed according to lot number, variety, and customer specifications.
· Assist with inventory management by recording weights, quantities, and movement of seed lots.
· Monitor seed condition and report any quality concerns to management.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
· Support general warehouse and agricultural operations as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; agricultural or warehouse experience preferred.
· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
· Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends during peak seasons.
Pay: $18/hr
Shift: M-F, varies 6am-2:30pm, 7am-3:30pm
