Job Description:
General Pump Company, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pump and Well Services Technician to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Foreman and Project Managers to operate equipment and coordinate tools for pump removal, installation, and rehabilitation activities. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency on various work sites while providing support to well cleaning and rehabilitation projects.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Foreman and Project Managers to operate equipment and coordinate tools and support for pump removal, installation, and rehabilitation activities.

Adhere to work order documentation, identify equipment needs, and ensure accurate documentation of activities.

Follow directed instructions, prioritize safety, and work efficiently in dynamic environments.

Perform well rehabilitation using chemicals in various applications.

Maintain clear communication with team members across departments to ensure seamless workflow.

Ensure safe and organized setup and teardown of work sites.

Lift over 50 pounds and work around traffic when necessary.

Work effectively in all weather conditions, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
-
Must have a valid CA Class "C" Driver's License.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Must obtain a Class "B" or "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Ability to acquire a Hazmat Endorsement on CDL (requires TSA clearance).

Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of experience in pump and well services, including support tools for well cleaning.

Hazmat Endorsement on CDL.

Basic experience in welding, torching, and electrical work.
