Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. The Motel Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and managing staff and resources efficiently. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the motel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs while maintaining a positive guest experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor property appearance and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and facilities meet cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee financial reporting including payroll, accounts receivable, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and legal regulations.
  • Coordinate marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and local partners.

Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience in hospitality, hotel/motel operations, or a related field required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency in motel/hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and operational costs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
