Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain information in our company databases and systems. The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of data confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Enter data from source documents into prescribed formats (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, or software applications)

Verify and correct data where necessary

Update existing data and maintain accurate records

Retrieve data as requested for authorized personnel

Ensure data integrity and confidentiality

Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

Follow data program techniques and procedures

Scan documents and print files, when needed

Organize and maintain files and records
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus

Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position

Excellent typing speed and accuracy

Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data entry software quickbook

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Good organizational and time management skills

Familiarity with administrative duties
