Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join their Mass Tort & Class Action team. This role presents the opportunity to contribute to high-impact Pharma and Device-related litigation while working alongside top-tier legal professionals. Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on issues, precedents, and regulations relevant to Mass Tort & Class Action litigation.
- Draft compelling pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents that meet deadlines and adhere to best practices.
- Manage the discovery process, including written discovery, depositions, and coordination of document production.
- Support client meetings and court appearances by preparing materials and offering strategic input.
- Stay current with legal developments and trends in Mass Tort & Class Action law.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals to ensure efficient case management.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to junior legal staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California or another approved U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience handling personal injury cases, preferably in Mass Tort and Class Action litigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Westlaw and case management software such as Filevine (or similar platforms).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to client advocacy.
The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000–$150,000, depending on experience and location. Final compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
