Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a valid California license to provide therapy services in an elementary school setting located in Los Banos, CA. The position is contracted for the current school year (CSY) and offers a commitment of 30 hours per week, five days a week. The assignment is expected to last between 6 to 12 weeks, beginning February 28th, with the exact end date to be determined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students across two distinct groups: 34 students in pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade and 19 students in grades 3 through 5.
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions based on students needs and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant holding current California licensure.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
