Due to our continued expansion and growth, we now have an opportunity for a full-time Project Manager at our Headquarters located in Irvine, CA.
Primary Function:
Responsible for managing a variety of growth projects, including new site set up and acquisition integration. Primary responsibility is to manage the planning and execution of these projects by working with a cross functional company team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross functional team and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Attend training as required to maintain proficiency
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant experience
- 2-5 years project management experience required
- PMP Certification preferred but not required
- Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
- Hands-on project management experience focused on operational improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and tact
- Collaborative, ability to foster trusting relationships
- Effective communication and influencing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills required
- Strong time management skills, including ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
- Accountability for meeting deadlines and ability to maintain effectiveness under deadlines
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills supported by proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project
- Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
