Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Woodland, CA. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers a collaborative environment with COTA and facilitator support under supervision. The role requires a committed professional licensed in California, ready to deliver effective therapy services without the use of voice-output communication devices (VOCO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to a diverse student population across Pre-K to 12 grades.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and support staff.
- Supervise COTA and facilitators to ensure high-quality therapy delivery.
- Document therapy progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
- Adhere to contract requirements, including comp time management.
Qualifications:
- Current and active California Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working in a school-based setting with Pre-K to 12 students.
- Ability to work full-time hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Skilled in providing OT services without VOCO devices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and therapy support staff.
- Commitment to professional standards and contractual obligations, including compensation time tracking.
