A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and oversight in a specialized long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting. This position offers the chance to oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance and optimal patient care within a 70-bed facility. The role requires a proactive leader capable of holding the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) designation for the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive oversight of pharmacy services and staff.
- Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication management and patient safety.
- Utilize RX Connect for pharmacy IT operations.
- Ensure adherence to all pharmacy-related policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active California Pharmacist License.
- Proven experience as a Director of Pharmacy in California healthcare settings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with RX Connect pharmacy software is advantageous.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Employment Type:
- Contract position for 13 weeks with potential to convert to a temp-to-hire role.
