Job Description
Lulu and Georgia is a design-led home furnishings brand known for elevated, distinctive pieces and a highly curated point of view. As we expand into physical retail, our first showroom will play an important role in how we serve customers in-person while supporting our growing omnichannel business.
We’re hiring a Part-Time Showroom Sales Consultant to join the launch team of Lulu and Georgia’s first physical showroom in West Hollywood. This is a high-touch, relationship-driven sales role focused on delivering an elevated customer experience and guiding clients through product selection, project scoping, quoting, and purchase completion.
In our sample-only showroom environment, Sales Consultants act as trusted advisors—supporting direct-to-consumer clients and residential trade designers by offering product expertise, design guidance, and proactive follow-up that converts interest into orders.
Responsibilities:
Client Experience & Sales Execution
- Deliver a warm, elevated, and consultative in-store experience for all customers, including walk-ins and appointments
- Conduct needs discovery and help clients select products that align with their style, space, timeline, and budget
- Provide design support such as styling recommendations, simple space planning guidance, and “complete-the-look” suggestions
- Build and manage quotes and draft orders, ensuring accuracy in product specifications, lead times, and delivery expectations
- Drive sales through disciplined follow-up, clienteling, and relationship-building—turning in-store engagement into completed purchases
Clienteling & Relationship Management
- Capture customer information and preferences to create meaningful follow-up and long-term relationships
- Maintain consistent outreach to progress opportunities and close sales, using phone and personalized communication (not just email)
- Support repeat business by providing thoughtful recommendations, timely updates, and high-touch service
- Help grow the local client base by developing relationships with designers and community partners, supporting outreach for events, and encouraging repeat showroom visits through proactive follow-up and personalized recommendations
Tools, Process & Data Discipline
- Use HubSpot to document all client interactions, manage pipeline stages, and track follow-up activities
- Utilize Spoak to create simple visual design boards that help clients make confident purchase decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams when additional support is needed, while maintaining ownership of the client relationship whenever possible
Showroom Standards & Team Collaboration
- Maintain showroom presentation standards, including cleanliness, organization, and sample readiness
- Support daily operational tasks and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
- Participate in in-store events, trade programming, and community activations as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, ideally in home, furniture, interior design, luxury retail, or a high-touch service environment
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a consultative, relationship-driven setting
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with discerning customers
- Interest in interiors and design, with the ability to provide styling and space planning guidance
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing follow-up and multiple active opportunities
- Comfort using CRM and technology tools; Shopify and HubSpot experience a plus
- Ability to work weekends and maintain an on-site schedule
