Job DescriptionOur client is looking for an A/R Billing Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle monthly and quarterly billing based on customer agreements
• Answer incoming calls regarding billing statements and account questions
• Make collection calls as needed to follow up on unpaid invoices
• Clearly explain charges to customers (e.g., contract vs. out-of-contract services, service calls, etc.)
• Provide excellent customer service, even in difficult conversations
• Maintain accurate records and support general A/R processes
• Work in SAGE and Micro key (prior experience not required; both are user-friendly)
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues
Requirements:
• Experience in billing, accounts receivable, and customer service
• Strong communication skills, including comfort handling tough conversations
• Dependable and reliable – consistent attendance is important
• Fast learner and confident using accounting software and tools
• Not afraid to pick up the phone and speak with clients
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
