Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury, employment law, and civil rights. This role involves representing clients in various civil litigation matters and advocating for their rights in court.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including personal injury and employment law matters.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support clients' positions.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in a favorable manner for clients.
- Prepare and present cases in court, including trials and hearings.
- Maintain communication with clients to keep them informed about the progress of their cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive legal support.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in CA
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury and employment law
- Plaintiff experience preferred
