JOB DESCRIPTION:
The duties of a Cell Phone Repair Technician are to troubleshoot issues with mobile phones, diagnose the cause of a particular problem, then replace parts or perform software updates to repair the device and restore it to full functionality.
- Perform professional-level repairs on iPhones, Samsung, and other Android devices
- Identify broken parts and place orders for replacement parts
- Document part prices for account purposes
- Perform data-entry within inventory management system
- Maintain inventory accuracy and a high level of attention to detail at all times
- Keep a clean and safe workspace and optimize process efficiencies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality control standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Complete diligent reporting of IT assets into computer system
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Must have prior personal or professional experience in mobile device repair
2) Must be able to perform the following repairs: Battery, Screen, Speaker, Charge Port (non-soldering), and other basic repairs
3) Knowledge in other types of electronics repair is a plus (Consoles, Tablets, Laptops, etc)
4) Interest in tech, mobile devices, and computers
5) Must be able to pass a basic background check.
6) Must be permitted to work in the US
