Job DescriptionDescriptionWe're currently looking for a Full-Time Adult Caregiver in San Fernando Valley, California
A warm and loving family near Lake Balboa is seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Adult Caregiver to support their mother, who is living with MS. She has difficulty getting around, needs help with daily living activities, and requires transportation to medical appointments.

Monday 10-6
Tuesday 10-6
Wednesday 10-6
Thursday 10-6
Friday 10-6
Start Date: ASAP
End Date / Length of Position: Ongoing
Responsibilities
- Assist with mobility, including use of walker and wheelchair
- Provide safe transfers and lifting (in/out of bed and support as needed)
- Transport client to medical appointments (10 miles or less)
- Support with toileting; client currently experiencing increasing accidents
- Assistance with showering and general hygiene
- Help maintain a consistent meal schedule and oversee regular eating
- Encourage healthy habits (family is trying to help her reduce/stop smoking-- currently has been cigarette free for several weeks!)
- Provide companionship, patience, and emotional support as she navigates loss of independence
- Ensure she can safely participate in activities she enjoys
- General monitoring for safety throughout the day
Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and assist with transfers
- Comfortable assisting with walker and wheelchair
- Valid driver's license; able to drive client to appointments
- CPR Certified
- At least 2 years of professional, in home, adult care
Compensation + BenefitsThis position pays $25 per hour, and the family is looking for 40 hours of care per week.
