Position: Ag Planner Department: Raw Product
Summary: Raw Product is the harvest and procurement of raw agricultural products. A Ag Planner provides a plan and the support on how the crop is to be harvested to meet our cooling and shipping schedule. Ag Planner is a full time year round Salary position consisting of traveling Between California and Arizona.
Job Function Statements - Essential Functions:
- Ability to process all documents in both paper and electronic formats in a "real-time" environment.
- Ability to communicate with harvester and convey where to stage for the harvest and what area of the field they will harvest.
- Ability to work day, swing, or night shifts within a 7-day work week schedule.
- Full time positions are expected to travel throughout the year with the companies operations in California and Arizona.
- Ability to work in Sun, rain and windy work enviroments
Requirements
- Ability to effectively use office equipment and systems to include but not be limited to: multi-line phones, voice mail software, copiers, fax, FedEx, and two-way radios, etc.
- Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- AS400 PRMS.
- Consists of working with Procurement/Harvest and Cooling operations to meet daily product demand.
- Availability to work before and after hours do to Field and cooler operations needing Ag planners assistance.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
