Position: Care-Provider
Program: Supported Living Services (SLS)
Location: Various sites in the community and in the clients homes.
Overview:
Samoht Foundation is seeking compassionate, dependable Care-Providers to support adults with developmental disabilities in living safely and independently. You will be working one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities, helping them achieve personal goals and live meaningful lives.
*Note: We are seeking compassionate and dependable female caregivers, as requested by the client’s family, to support a young female client who requires assistance in all areas of daily living.
Responsibilities Include:

Assisting clients with daily living skills (hygiene, cooking, errands, etc.)

Supporting community integration and social development

Promoting independence through goal-setting and skill-building

Documenting progress and communicating with team members

Providing transportation as needed (if applicable)
Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older

Valid ID and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check

Passion for helping others; experience preferred but not required

Open to learning—training will be provided
