A soldering tech performs high-quality soldering and assembly of electronic components on circuit boards and other devices, requiring expertise in various soldering techniques and equipment operation, meticulous attention to detail for quality assurance, and the ability to inspect, repair, and document their work according to industry standards like IPC J-STD-001. Key responsibilities include using microscopes for micro soldering, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with engineers to resolve technical issues and improve products.
Key Responsibilities

Soldering & Assembly:
Apply solder to join electronic components, wires, and circuit boards, ensuring precise and reliable connections.

Micro Soldering:
Perform precision soldering on small components under a microscope for micro soldering and rework.

Equipment Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, and soldering stations.

Quality Control:
Inspect and test solder joints and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and industry specifications.
Short Term Contract 7 AM to 330 PM Pay is $25-$30/hour
