Sr Maintenance Technician - Aerospace Manufacturing

Position Overview
The Sr Maintenance Technician in Manufacturing is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing systems while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines, including preventative maintenance and setup.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues affecting production equipment.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve equipment problems promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs in compliance with AS100 standards.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff in best practices and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machinery.
  • Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC programming, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is essential.
  • Knowledge of OEM machine controllers (FANUC, Siemens and NIT).
