We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team, working on the first shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a temp-to-hire position, replacing a current team member who has transitioned to an IT-related role. The most critical skill for this position is proficiency in dimensional and mechanical inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. While experience with a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is advantageous, it is not mandatory as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance tasks.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Perform complex measurements using advanced measurement tools and equipment.
- Inspect mechanical housings built to tight tolerances (.001 inches).
- Examine cable assemblies built to IPC requirements.
- Use various inspection tools including microscopes, multimeters, height gauges, material analyzers, and surface measurement tools.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in mechanical, PCBA’s, and electro-mechanical assemblies or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience performing complex measurements using advanced measurement tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges for dimensional inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in IPC 610 requirements is highly preferred, but not required.
- Experience with CMM is preferred.
- Familiarity with cable assemblies built to IPC requirements is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
