Job Summary

The Litigation Assistant provides administrative and procedural support to attorneys throughout the litigation process, from case investigation and discovery to trial preparation.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages client communications
  • Organizes and maintains electronic and physical case files and documents
  • Conducts basic legal research, assists with discovery requests and helps prepare materials for hearings and trials
  • Schedules meetings and conferences for attorneys
  • Manages attorney calendars, prepares expense reports, and process invoices
  • Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, court personnel, and other parties
  • Provides case status updates to clients and respond to inquiries
  • Conduct client interviews, field client questions, and ensures client confidentiality
  • Assists with court appearances by preparing documents, coordinating witnesses, and ensuring the smooth logistical setup of courtroom technology and materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-year personal injury experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
  • Basic understanding of legal procedures and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with case management, electronic filing systems preferred
  • Familiarity with pre-litigation processes, legal documents preferred
  • Good judgment, problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively under pressure a must
  • Ability to multi-task; manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
