Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst 2 position will be a seasoned member of the Quality Assurance team. The position will report to the management of the Quality Assurance Department. As an experienced member of the team, this position will exhibit excellent Quality Assurance skills, be a seasoned manual tester, familiar with creating tickets in systems such as Jira, be familiar with the use of test documentation tools such as Adaptivity in Jira, be agile in working with coworkers in and out of the QA team and be driven with a tenacious desire to deliver the best possible software to our customers.
Essential Functions
- Versed in manual testing of a wide variety of types of software. This can include desktop software in java, web-based software, software using terminal emulation, and other types.
- Familiar with concepts such as submitting to SOAP-based XML endpoints, or RESTful services in JSON or XML
- Will execute JMeter suites and interpret results.
- Will execute RESTful queries with Postman and interpret results.
- Will execute Python-based test suites, including Selenium, and interpret results.
- Responsible for writing detailed test cases in tools such as Adaptivity for Jira.
- Will author or contribute to bugs and other ticket types in a system such as Jira.
- Must work well in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Must be detail oriented and will be comparing forms side by side and spotting differences large or small.
- Must work well with others. Will interface with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, or any team member across any department to gain necessary information.
- Collect metrics on team progress related to release volume, quality of releases, failed releases, and overall QA operations.
- Works as a team player and builds strong working relationships by collaborating with peers, and those across the company.
- Ability to always work in a positive friendly manner and inspire the companys culture.
- Must be well-organized, extremely detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5 years of extensive experience in a Quality Assurance department, responsible for testing distributed API-driven software within a high-volume SaaS organization
- Deep knowledge and experience in the implementation of various testing mythologists and test automation tools and techniques
- 5 years of solid knowledge of testing techniques to determine an appropriate number of test iterations and apply risk-based test concepts.
- Mortgage industry experience preferred.
