Position Overview:
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 20252026 school year. This esteemed position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to render critical speech and language services to a diverse cohort of elementary-aged students. The role will require providing direct therapeutic interventions, as well as formulating and evaluating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual student's needs.
Core Responsibilities:

Administer individualized speech and language therapy to students presenting with a range of communicative disorders, in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to evaluate speech and language impediments and determine appropriate therapeutic modalities

Develop, implement, and continuously monitor the efficacy of intervention strategies designed to ameliorate communication deficits

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, caregivers, and allied health professionals to foster a holistic, integrative approach to student development

Contribute substantively to IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations for educational strategies

Diligently maintain clinical documentation to ensure adherence to state and federal compliance regulations, including detailed reports, progress notes, and individualized therapy records
Prerequisites and Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related discipline

Active State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, in accordance with regional regulatory standards

ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, though candidates who are nearing certification may be considered

Proven experience in working with pediatric populations, particularly within an elementary school context, is highly desirable

Demonstrated proficiency in IEP formulation, monitoring, and collaborative execution

Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a capacity for both independent work and effective collaboration within a professional team

In-depth knowledge of contemporary speech and language therapeutic methodologies, as well as evidence-based practices for pediatric patients
