Experienced Industrial Painter
We are looking for an experienced industrial painter to join our American team:
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience
- Responsibilities include mixing, matching and applying industrial paint to various surfaces completing touchups and coordinating large painting projects.
- Selecting paint according to company requirements and match colors of paint following specified work orders and drawings
- Be able to mix paint to manufacturer specifications, stir and thin paints using mixers
- Ability to remove grease, dirt, paint or rust from surfaces in preparation for paint application using abrasives, solvents, chemicals, washing tanks and pressure washers.
- Knowledge to properly pour paint into spray guns, adjust nozzles and paint mixes for proper paint flow and coating thickness
- Monitor painting operations to identify flaws, such as blisters or streaks, and correct causes. Sand and clean and touch up paint as needed
- Ability to clean and properly maintain all painting equipment by disassembling, cleaning and reassembling sprayers, power equipment using solvents, wire brushes and cloths
- Preferred Requirements: verify quality of process, understand and follow all safety protocols, dispose of hazardous waste in appropriate manner through proper marking and storage techniques, ability to select and use required PPE’s
Pay: $20-$25/hr (Pay is based on Experience)
· 40-hour work week
