PeopleConnect is looking for a MarTech Solutions Architect to join our award-winning team to support our People Search division. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing Operations. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced MarTech Solutions Architect to own and evolve our marketing data infrastructure across both client-side and server-side environments. This person will be the architect of our tracking, analytics, and marketing integrations—combining deep Google Tag Manager expertise with backend development skills to ensure our data is accurate, privacy-compliant, and actionable. While working cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, and Analytics to build reliable, scalable pipelines between our websites, marketing platforms, and analytics tools. Sounds interesting? Responsibilities:

Own and maintain Google Tag Manager (client & server-side) for all marketing, analytics, and conversion tracking needs.

Design, deploy, and maintain server-side tagging environments for improved accuracy, privacy compliance, and site performance.

Build and maintain backend integrations between GA4, Google Ads, BigQuery, and other MarTech systems.

Develop and maintain custom scripts in JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or similar for API calls, data transformations, and automated data flows.

Implement server-to-server tracking and webhooks for marketing platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).

Collaborate with stakeholders to define event tracking requirements, marketing pixel needs, and data governance standards.

Manage and optimize ETL processes to ensure consistent and accurate data between platforms.

Troubleshoot tracking and data flow issues using developer tools, debugging utilities, and server logs.

Stay current on changes in the Google ecosystem, privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), and MarTech best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:
-
4+ years managing GTM (client & server-side) implementations.

Strong backend development skills: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, API integrations, and server-to-server event handling.

Experience with cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc.) and container management.

Proficiency in GA4, Google Ads, and BigQuery.

SQL skills for querying and transforming datasets.

Experience building ETL processes or marketing data pipelines.

Familiarity with consent management and privacy compliance standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
-
Experience with marketing attribution modeling and performance optimization.

Familiarity with CI/CD workflows for deploying tag/container updates.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and schema design.
Salary Range:
Min: $151,000
Mid: $171,500
Max: $194,000
The pay range reflects the salary amount the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position. It is not a guarantee of actual compensation or a specific payment amount to any candidate. The actual compensation will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, a particular candidate’s experience and qualifications.
