This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an exciting opportunity to work in inclusive community preschool settings serving young children aged 3 to 4 years. Located in Santa Rosa, CA, this contract role is designed for an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow ready to provide high-quality assessment and therapy services within classroom environments. The position starts August 14 and continues through June 7, with a work schedule of seven hours per day, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for preschool-aged children
- Deliver individualized therapy services directly within inclusive classroom environments
- Manage a caseload of 20-30 students across five different school sites
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student communication development
- Travel between community preschool locations to provide onsite support
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with experience working in preschool or early childhood settings
- Clinical Fellowship completion preferred, with openness to Clinical Fellows applying
- Strong skills in assessment and therapy tailored to speech and language delays in young children
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple school sites efficiently
- Familiarity with inclusive education models and community-based preschool programs
Working Conditions:
- Onsite work required; teletherapy options are not available for this position
- Daily travel between five community preschool sites
